ABOUT HIGH FARM
High Farm, Beadlam Rigg in the North York Moors National Park is the last property on the
road up Beadlam Rigg, beyond the farm the green lane gently rises up to the top of ‘Potato Nab’
escarpment where you can enjoy panoramic views towards the Vale of York to the south and
Bilsdale and Slightholmedale to the North. Our roads are not busy (other than the occasional
farm vehicle) so they are generally safe for young children to enjoy a bit of freedom.
High Farm is a working farm and home to our flock of Pedigree Rouge Sheep,
a herd of suckler cows with calves and also a few pigs!
The absence of passing traffic really allows you to get away from the busy world if that’s what
you are looking for, or alternatively you also couldn’t be more ideally located to access
numerous fantastic walking and cycling routes.
